Why Advanced NeuroTherapy?

Board Certified in Neurofeedback by BCIA

Advanced NeuroTherapy addresses the human problem of taking in and processing stimulation. When people cannot process stimulation they also have difficulty processing information. This includes information about self-care and self-pacing.

In order to address this complicated, many-faceted condition, Advanced NeuroTherapy employs and combines the use of NeuroTherapy, EEG-Driven Stimulation, Nutrition, Interactive Metronome, Heart Rate Variability Training, Smart Brain GamesTM and the Listening Program.

Such an approach has achieved great success, and we look forward to continuing to evolve and define this comprehensive process.

To this end, the team at The Center for Advanced NeuroTherapy feels that it is extremely beneficial to its clients and the entire healing community to maintain strong working relationships with Physical Therapists, Neurologists, Physicians, and Somatic-Oriented Health Professionals. Our Mission

The Center for Advanced Neurotherapy employs a holistic approach to the care of its patients. We specialize in treating both adults and children and we’ve been helping people for over 30 years! Our approach differs from the medical approach in a number of important ways. It doesn’t think in terms of pathology, but rather in terms of the adult’s or child’s ability to achieve balance and self-regulation. It doesn’t offer a single magic bullet cure, but instead involves efforts in various areas. It sees the body, mind, the social and natural environment as integrated systems.

Adults find relief from a variety of conditions. The most common conditions are post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), ADD / ADHDdepressionanxietyhead injurymigraineschronic painaddictions, and insomnia. Unlike some clinics, we provide individualized attention and a personalized treatment plan for each patient.

When a parent refers a child to us, we review initial assessment findings and continue to meet with the parents during and after the treatment program. We like to involve the family in fully understanding causes and treatments and patterns that can be developed for well-being in life. Our approach requires the child and family to be active participants in a wellness program, rather than passive recipients of a drug. People who expect alternative treatment to involve simply taking one pill instead of another will be disappointed.
